The source of YUAN

In my creative process, I trace the formation of my identity through family stories, childhood memories, and deconstructed imagination, awakening the primal narrative of personal identity. "Yuan Yuan" rewrites the growth journey of a girl in a way that interweaves reality and fiction. This girl is both "me" and "my grandmother," and in a poetic, ambiguous narrative, "I" start from the death of "my grandmother" and end with a religious-style vision of "my grandmother" being reborn as a baby in a fire, recreating the life of a Chinese girl, which is both a review of life and a prophecy of rebirth.
